Ce n'est qu'un début

-Viviste algo memorable...

-Did you experience something memorable...
-True, I believe you did.
We looked at each other for a moment, with a small complicity. After a while the boat arrived at its destination. All the passengers began to disembark, and the lady wished me luck. She was setting off again on a sea voyage, while I was returning to my home in the city.
The two previous days I almost slept in the street. And as I set foot on land and made my way to the dock's exit, questions arose in me:
-What will you live on?
-What will you do? How will you get money? How will you sustain your life?
-Aren't you afraid of not getting that security you yourself used to ask for?
But truth be told, there was another, more uncomfortable question following me:
-What is the Mind? Is it perhaps the act of thinking? Is the mind saying something humanly coherent, intelligent? Could an intention conceived in my mind influence the realization of a future action in my physical environment? As if my mind traveled through an entire, infinite system of future possibilities regarding an event, and influenced the selection of a type of outcome...
I watched the boat from afar while a play of words appeared in my mind: a language, a story, a funny accident, a tea, a hope, a ceramic, an island and a dog. None of them represented what I did for eight hours a day, five days a week. However, if I could live 25 hours a day and eight days a week that set of experiences I lived, without receiving anything in return, I would do it without hesitation. I looked once more at the sea from the shore, and told myself that next time I should put on my business card: 'fear assassin', 'smile trafficker' and 'time thief'.
Energy is the currency of exchange in the physical universe. All possible transactions -movements, oscillations, chemical reactions, radiation and mass- are charged and paid with it. The essential property of energy, as is widely known, is that it is neither created nor destroyed; it only transmutes between its different forms.
