Voxel51 - Webinar

First time speaking for an audience! Wow!

It was an opportunity to recap on my workflow using computer vision, real time engine and gesture / motion capture and why I believe these systems offer an interesting solution especially for live performance, live visual effects and other real-time scenarios where visuals and digital environments can be dynamically controlled by the user.

I want to thank Paula Ramos, from Voxel51, who was one of the first people I talked to about my project. I don’t usually ask others to take a moment to look at my work (I’m quite the opposite lol), but I’m glad she took the time and consideration to check my work and invited me to participate in this webinar.

It’s wild to think that not long ago, I was just starting to explore AI tools in my own workflow. But if there’s one thing consistent in my professional journey, it’s curiosity and open-mindedness. I’m fascinated by how technology can reshape our creative process, in other words, how humans and computers might “talk” to each other in more organic ways by interpreting our motion, thoughts, or even subjective states. There's a message that I read it at a peruvian digital newspaper that I want to share:

“Each technological advancement is another opportunity to convey our dreams reliably, allowing us to think and create with a wider freedom.”
